According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...registered as parentage
unknown (Eisel 1983b); appears to be a seedling of
Hosta sieboldii 'Subcrocea'."
Ken Anderson of Minnesota registered this
cultivar in 1982.
A 13 inch high by 34 inches wide
mound, this plant has narrow, wavy leaves that have smooth
texture and thin substance. The medium purple flowers bloom from
mid-July.
Zilis comments, "...an
exceptional growth rate and makes an excellent edger or rock
garden plant."
