This cultivar was listed on the MyHostas Database website. Originated by Dr. Doug Beilstein of Ohio, this non-registered, blue-green cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a medium size hosta with foliage that is broadly ovate, shiny and twisted at the tips.

There is also a registered cultivar from Butch Graves of Ohio called H. 'Roughrider'.
