This cultivar which is a self-pollinated seedling of a hosta called "Hadrava Seedling RD-BS-1" was registered in 1999 by Jerry Hadrava of Iowa. It is a large size plant with gold colored foliage which is heavily corrugated and nearly round. Near white flowers bloom in July.
