A self-pollinated seedling of hosta "Hadrava Seedling RD-BS-1" in the breeding program of Jerry Hadrava of Iowa, this cultivar was registered in 1999. It is a small size plant about 8 inches high by 23 inches wide with bright gold colored foliage. The leaves are very broadly ovate with thick substance. Its flowers bloom in late June.
