This cultivar was registered in 1999 by Jerry Hadrava of Iowa as a hybrid of two of his seedlings, "Hadrava Seedling RD-BS-1" x "Hadrava Seedling RD-BSS-6". The medium size hosta has blue-green foliage with yellow streaked variegation. Pale purple flowers bloom in July.
