Originated by
Charles Kwick
of Wisconsin, this cultivar was registered in
2021
as a seedling of H. 'Sagae' ×
H. 'Sea Gulf Stream'. It is a medium size (15 inches high by
26 inches wide) hosta with
greenish golden yellow foliage. The broadly ovate leaves are
slightly corrugated and slightly cupped. It bears pale
lavender, tubular shape
flowers in July and sets seed but their viability was
not known at the time of registration.
According to the Registration materials: "Glaucous coating on large
greenish gold leaves gives a velvety
appearance...somewhat more gold as the season
progresses..."
