small size (10 inches high by 18 inches wide)
cultivar is of unidentified parentage. The foliage is
medium green with a creamy white marginal variegation.
Its ovate leaves are slightly rippled, slightly folded,
wavy and very shiny on top with petioles that have
almost purple edges. Pale lavender flowers with nearly
white petals that have
three purple center stripes and
translucent margins bloom from August into September.
The scapes are 12 to 18 inches tall and it sets viable
seeds.
The registration
materials state: "...Interesting rounded blade base
stretches into an elongated tip. The cream margin is
very narrow but the bright sheen accentuates the
distinction between center and rim." |
