Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio registered this cultivar of unidentified parentage in 1999 as part of the Richland Series of hostas. It forms an 18 inch high mound that spreads to 40 inches wide. The foliage is slightly wavy and slightly corrugated. Bright purple flowers bloom starting in mid-July.
