This sport of H. 'Richland Royal Prince' is part of the "Richland Series" of hostas from Van Wade who registered it in 1999. It forms a medium to large size plant with green foliage. The mound grows to about 20 inches in height with a width of 45 inches. Leaves are moderately corrugated and slightly wavy. Bright purple flowers bloom from mid-July into August.
