A sport of H. 'Richland Royal Prince', this cultivar was registered by Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio in 1999 as part of the Richland Series of hostas. The mound grows to about 18 inches in height and 40 inches in width with ovate leaves that are slightly wavy and slightly corrugated. It bears bright purple flowers in mid-July.
