Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio originated this non-registered cultivar of unidentified parentage. This is a medium size hosta about 12 inches high with a spread of around 24 inches. The foliage is shiny green and the leaves have bright red petioles. Deep purple flowers bloom in August.
