this large size (26 inches high by 46 inches wide) cultivar is
a
sport of H. 'Lakeport
Blue'. It has deep green foliage with medium
golden-yellow marginal variegation. The broadly ovate
leaves have light seersuckering overall and are slightly
shiny on top. Pale lavender flowers bloom from mid-July
into August on scapes 28 to 30 inches tall. It sets
seeds but their viability was unknown at the time of
registration.
The registration materials state: "...Heavily
pebbled/puckered at maturity. Green centers streak
outward onto gold borders...consistent coloration
throughout the season." |
