Registered by Ursula Syre-Herz of South Carolina in 1990, this cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a miniature size (4 inches tall by 13 inches wide) hosta which has leathery, yellow-green leaves. Deep violet flowers bloom from July into August but do not set seeds.
