of Wisconsin, this cultivar was registered by
Glenn Herold
of Illinois in
2021
as an open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Elegans'. It is a
fast growing, giant size (32 inches high by
55 inches wide) hosta with dark green foliage. The
broadly ovate leaves are heavily corrugated and very
shiny on top. It bears pale purple, tubular flowers with
stripes that bloom from July into August
and sets seed but their viability was not known at the
time of registration.
According to the Registration materials: "Deep, dark green color with
exceptional puckering/corrugation."
