Jim Schwarz of
Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by
Uniquely
Hostas of Wisconsin) registered this medium size (16 inches high
by 29 inches wide) upright growing seedling of unidentified parentage in 2009. It has dark green foliage with a
creamy white medial (center) variegation. The leaves are
slightly shiny on top, broadly ovate and cupped. Near
white, tubular flowers with pale lavender stripes bloom
during August. It sets viable seeds. The center
of the leaf is albescent meaning that it turns whiter as
the season progresses.
