Originated by Walters Gardens, Inc. of Michigan, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'Prairie Fire'. It is a medium to large size hosta about 18 inches high by 40 inches wide with green foliage and a bright yellow medial (center) variegation that becomes whitish as the season progresses. Pale lavender flowers open in mid to late July followed by viable seeds.
