Jo Duncan of Minnesota in 2014, this
medium size (16 inches high by 38 inches wide) cultivar
is of unidentified parentage. The leaves are dark green,
ovate, twisted, slightly corrugated, moderately cupped
and very shiny on top. Deep purple, tubular flowers with
stripes bloom on scapes 24 to 36 inches tall. According to the registration materials: "...very shiny, dark green mound, smooth,
downward cupped, pointed leaves with a slightly
rippled edge, deep purple flowers contrast against
the dark green leaves..." |
