this upright growing cultivar is a medium size (14
inches high by 27 inches wide) seedling of H. 'Swoosh'.
Its dark green foliage has golden-yellow marginal
variegation. The leaves are ovate, flat at the margin,
tapered at the base and slightly shiny on top. Medium
lavender flowers bloom from June into July on scapes 20
to 24 inches tall. It sets seeds but their viability was
not known at the time of registration.
The registration materials state: "...Very pointed,
dark green leaves with a narrow, golden-yellow
margin...Golden-yellow margins fade toward the end of
the season." |
