This open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Blue Boy' was registered by Pauline Banyai of Michigan in 1990. It forms a large size (22 inches high) mound that has cupped, slightly corrugated, bluish green leaves and pale purple flowers in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...like a large version of 'Candy Hearts'."
