this fast growing cultivar is a small size (8 inches
high by 26 inches wide) seedling of H. 'Hadspen
Blue' ×
H. 'Carol'. It is a rhizomatous hosta with medium
green foliage. The leaves are lanceolate, slightly
folded, slightly wavy, slightly shiny on top and very
shiny on the bottom. Pale purple flowers with purple
stripes bloom from mid-July into August on scapes 16 to
22 inches tall. It sets seeds but their viability was
not known at the time of registration.
The registration materials state: "...Short plant
with shiny, iridescent leaves. Fast multiplier and very
pretty flowers...darkens slightly during the season."
