Piet de Rooij of the
Netherlands registered this
hybrid of a streaked form of H. 'Gray Cole' × H. 'Kifukurin
Ubatake' in 2013. It has intensely blue-green leaves with creamy
white streaked variegation. The foliage is lance shaped,
moderately flat and glaucous on top. Pale lavender, tubular
flowers bloom from July into August. It sets viable seeds.

A Little About Japanese Hosta Terms defines the term kifukurin or ki fukurin as yellow edge(d) or
yellow margin(ed) and the term fukurin as margined or edged.
