Paul Aden of New York registered this hybrid
of H. 'Tokudama Aureonebulosa' ×
H. 'Aden
No. 355' in
1976. The large size plant grows to about 19 inches in height
with a spread of 51 inches. Its blue-green foliage is heavily
corrugated, unruly and broadly ovate with thick substance. Near
white flowers bloom from late June into July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...most hosta collectors have never grown it or seen it. Its
slow growth rate limits its propagation by division and it has
not been propagated by
tissue culture."
