2022,
this cultivar is a fast growing seedling of unidentified
parentage. This is a medium size (16 inches high by 40
inches wide) has slightly blue-green foliage that is
heavily rippled at the margins. Its leaves are glaucous
on top and bottom, narrowly ovate in shape, lightly
twisted, slightly folded, slightly corrugated and
moderately wavy overall. The base of the leaves twist
and may overlap.
Flowers are near white with lavender
misting with alternate tepals are more heavily speckled
with translucent margins. They bloom in July followed by
viable seeds. The flower color pattern is described as
"...exterior lavender misting that is more dense at the
tips, interior speckles create subtle striping.
Alternate tepals are more heavily speckled and have
translucent margins. Purple speckled pedicels." The
registration materials state: "Long twisting, light
folded, ruffled blue green leaves with waxy backs
combine with spikey scapes and ruffled bracts to create
a magnificent display." |
