Originated by
Joanna
Kovalcsik of Michigan, this cultivar which was registered in
2019 is an open pollinated hybrid of
"Imagine Seedling
#309". It is a large size hosta about 20 inches high by
48 inches in diameter with an upright form. The lightly
twisted, wavy, corrugated foliage is light green with a
white marginal variegation and deeply impressed veins.
During the season, the margins change from yellow to
creamy white. The near white flowers with light lavender
stripes are borne on scapes 24 to 26 inches tall from
mid-July into August. They are followed by viable seeds
in greenish-yellow pods.
Notable characteristics were listed as: "Gracefully
long, sturdy, undulating golden-green leaves with a
heavily rippled cream edge that holds up well throughout
the season. In all respects, a showstopper!"
According to the originator, this cultivar will be
available in the future from The Country Garden & Gifts in Iowa and an OS division will be offered during the 2020
AHS on-line auction.
