Originated by
Charles Kwick
of Wisconsin, this cultivar was registered in
2021
as a seedling of H. 'Great Expectations' ×
H. 'Sagae'. It is a large to giant size (28 inches high by
50 inches wide) hosta with
blue-green foliage. The shiny, broadly ovate leaves are
slightly corrugated, slightly cupped and slightly folded. It bears
pale lavender, tubular shape
flowers with stripes from June into July and sets seed
but their viability was not known at the time of
registration. According to the Registration materials: "Large blue slightly cupped leaves
mature with slight folding...loses some glaucous bloom
later in the fall..."
