Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio originated this non-registered sport of H. 'Patriot'. It is a medium size plant growing to around 14 inches in height with a spread of about 39 inches. The foliage is green with a wider white marginal variegation than the mother plant. Its leaves are slightly wavy, smooth textured and have good substance. The medium lavender flowers bloom from late July into August. This is a 'Fortunei' type hosta.
