This is a hybrid of H. longipes var. latifolia x H. 'Dorset Blue' was registered by Don Dean of Minnesota in 2009. The plant grows to a medium size about 13 inches high by 30 inches in diameter with intensely blue-green foliage. Its leaves are lightly folded, slightly corrugated, moderately cupped and nearly round with heavy glaoucous bloom on top. Lavender flowers with translucent margins bloom from August into September. It does not set seeds.
