This non-registered sport of H. 'Gold Standard' is from Marco Fransen of Fransen Hostas in the Netherlands. It has variable colored foliage which starts the season green with yellow marginal variegation and changes to gold in the center with white margins later in the season. Pale lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August. This cultivar is part of the "Paradise Series" of hostas.
