This cultivar is a
seedling of
self-pollinated F2 seedling of H. 'Yankee
Blue' which was registered by
Virginia and Brian Skaggs of Indiana and
Madelon Gilligan of New Zealand in 2015.
The medium size (13
inches high by 30 inches wide) hosta has slightly
blue-green foliage that is broadly ovate, slightly wavy
and dull on top. Its petioles are blue-green and angled
outward. Pale lavender flowers bloom from late June into
July. According to the registration materials, "...flower ends stay closed, and they last a long time."
