This slow growing hybrid of H. rupifraga x an unnamed hosta was originated by Hiroshi Abe of Japan but registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2009. It is a miniature size hosta about 4 inches high with a spread of around 12 inches.

The leaves are green with white and mottled streaked variegation. They are moderately wavy, broadly ovate, flat and glaucous on the bottom. Pale purple, tubular flowers bloom in October. It sets viable seeds.
