Originated by
Rod Lysne of
Northern Grown Perennials in Wisconsin, this
non-registered cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Manhattan' ×
H. 'Extrovert'. The chartreuse to gold colored
plant is a large size hosta which grows to around 36
inches in width. Its foliage is nearly round and
moderately corrugated. 'Pale Moon Rising' is noted for
emerging from the ground late in the spring which helps to avoid
late frost damage to foliage.
