A slow growing, large size
(21 inches high by 18 inches wide) hosta, this cultivar is a
seedling of an H. 'Dorothy Benedict' seedling which was registered in 2005 by
Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan. The green foliage has
multi-colored streaked variegation with leaves that are very
broadly ovate, heavily rippled, slightly wavy, slightly
shiny on top and moderately rippled. Near white flowers
bloom from June into July on scapes up to 29 inches tall.
According to the registration information, "...large
heavily rippled multicolored streaked pod parent, white
flowers..."
