Walt Daughenbaugh
of Pennsylvania, this cultivar was registered in
2021
as a seedling of H. 'Empress Wu' ×
H.
plantaginea. It is a fast growing, giant size (33 inches high by
50 inches wide) hosta with light green foliage. The
broadly ovate leaves are slightly wavy and very shiny on
top with prominent veins. It bears near white, tubular
flowers that bloom from July into August but do not set
seeds.
According to the Registration materials: "Larger and faster growing than
its pod parent. Has nearly white fragrant flowers on
scapes held at 60 degrees to nearly horizontal."
