A
giant size (30 inches high by 28 inches wide), upright
growing hosta, this cultivar is a
seedling of an H. 'Dorothy Benedict' seedling which was registered in 2005 by
Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan. The foliage is dark green with
a chartreuse to gold colored marginal variegation. Its
leaves are broadly ovate, slightly wavy, slightly
twisted, slightly shiny on top and moderately corrugated. Near
white flowers bloom in July on scapes about 39 inches
tall. The registration
information says, "...giant arching rippled leaves with
wide yellow margins, white backs and flowers..."
