Registered by
Randy Goodwin of Indiana in 2009, this
upright growing cultivar is a hybrid of H. 'Kevin Kelley'.
It is a large size hosta growing to about 24 inches in
height with a spread of around 36 inches. The leaves are
greenish yellow, broadly ovate, moderately corrugated,
deeply cupped and slightly shiny on top. Tubular flowers
bloom from mid-July into August on scapes 30 to 42
inches long. According to the registration materials: "...an ascending spiral of upright leaves twist
like a flame...yellow intensifies as season progresses..."
