A sport of H. 'Aoki', this
cultivar was originated by
Walters Gardens, Inc. of Michigan and
registered on their behalf by
Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. It is a large size hosta
about 27 inches high by 53 inches wide. The leaves are green with a gold colored marginal variegation. They are slightly
rippled, ovate, slightly
corrugated and have good substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom from mid-July
into August. According to
The American Hosta Society registration form the original sport of this plant was given to
Dr. Jim Wilkins of Michigan by Walters Gardens, Inc.
