Registered by
Ed Schulz of Iowa in 2009, this
slow growing cultivar
is of unidentified parentage. It is a small size (10 inches
high by 24 inches wide) hosta with greenish yellow
foliage. The leaves are nearly round, moderately
corrugated and dull on top. Tubular flowers bloom on
scapes about 16 to 20 inches tall. According to the registration materials: "...round
pebbled (corrugated) leaf held horizontal..." An article in
The
Hosta Journal, (2017 Vol. 48 No 1), says that the Ohh! stands for Old Home Hostas
and Ludell is Ed Schulz'
wife's name.
