this medium size (14 inches high by 26 inches wide)
cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is an intensely
blue hosta with foliage that is ovate, relatively flat
and has a glaucous bloom on the top and bottom. Near
white flowers bloom from mid-June into July on scapes
about 24 to 36 inches tall followed by viable seeds.
The registration materials state: "...Blue color is
deep, intense and long-lasting. Will sustain light to
heavy frosts...Holds deep blue color well into the
fall...light lavender in middle of interior petals."
