Laurence Reuter and Madelon Gilligan of New Zealand originated this cultivar which is a seedling of H. 'Miss Susie'. It was registered by Gilligan in 2015.

This medium size (12 inches high by 21 inches wide) hosta grows in an upright form. The foliage is "grayish" blue-green, slightly rippled, wavy and dull on top. Its petioles reddish in color. Medium lavender, tubular flowers bloom from late June into July but it does not set seeds.
