There is an image of this
cultivar on the
Hosta Library. From the photo on the HL website, it appears to be a small
size hosta with light yellowish-green leaves and darker
green, irregular marginal variegation. This non-registered cultivar was
originated in Japan.

Waisei Gibōshi, the "dwarf-growing gold hosta" is
H. sieboldii 'Kabitan' under a fancy Japanese
cultivar name."
