An open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Blue Boy', this cultivar was registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio on behalf of the originator Lucille Simpers of Indiana in 1991. The medium size clump is 21 inches high by 42 inches wide. Its blue-green foliage is slightly corrugated with thick substance. Its whitish flowers bloom in July.
