This non-registered cultivar is part of Van Wade's American Indian Series of hostas. It is a seedling selection that grows to a medium size clump.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "A sign in the Wade & Gatton collection indicates that the name translates to "full moon"."

There is also a cultivar by the name H. 'Full Moon'.
