in
2022,
this cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Purgatory' ×
H. 'Lakeside Sir Logan'. It is a large size hosta
about 18 inches high by 36 inches wide with dark green
foliage that has a creamy white medial (center)
variegation. The nearly round leaves are slightly
cupped, slightly rippled and the white color extends
down into the petioles. Medium lavender flowers bloom
from August into September on bracts up to 26 inches
tall followed by non-viable seeds.
The
registration materials state: "Stunning looking
plant hosts very dark green margins surrounding narrow
creamy white centers with random outward spikes.
Hardier than its parents...creamy centers turn white
later in the season ."
