Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan registered this slow growing, rhizomatous cultivar of unidentified parentage in 1996 on behalf of the originator, Pauline Banyai of Michigan. It is a small size (7 inches high by 15 inches wide) hosta with bright golden yellow colored leaves which are very wavy. White flowers bloom in July on scapes 10 to 12 inches tall.
