Originated by
Rod Lysne
of Northern Grown Perennials in Wisconsin, this cultivar was registered in
2021
as a sport of H. 'Sweet Sunshine'. It is a large size (22 inches high by
40 inches wide) hosta with medium green foliage that has
a creamy gold marginal variegation. The
broadly ovate leaves are moderately cupped, moderately
corrugated and slightly shiny on top. It bears near
white, tubular shape
flowers in July
and sets seed but their viability was not known at the
time of registration.
According to the Registration materials: "Creamy gold margins that
streak down into green centers. Becomes very puckered
with age. Rather cupped leaves."
