Naturally enough, this cultivar
is a sport of H. 'Queen Josephine' which is a non-registered
hosta from Alex Malloy of New York. This medium size
(17 inches high) plant has a wider creamy yellow marginal
variegation on its dark green leaves than the mother plant. The leaves are ovate, slightly wavy and smooth textured
with good substance. Pale purple flowers bloom from late July
into August on three foot tall scapes.
