A large size (19 inches high by 48 inches wide) hosta, this cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Sophistication' which was registered in 1998 by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan. The light green foliage changes to a darker shade as the season progresses. Its leaves are ovate, slightly corrugated and have average substance.
