this medium size (12 inches high by 18 inches wide) cultivar is a
sport of H. 'Halcyon'. It is an upright growing
plant with chartreuse colored foliage that has
blue-green veins. The leaves are lanceolate, moderately
cupped and slightly shiny on top. Medium lavender
flowers bloom in August on scapes 18 to 28 inches tall.
The registration materials state: "...definite
striping effect on leaves with strong structure and easy
to maintain habit...becomes very shiny later in the
season." |
