Registered by
Owen Purvis of Elim Hosta Gardens in Wisconsin in
2022,
this large size (24 inches high by 48 inches wide) cultivar is
a
sport of H. 'Pat Raeder'. The broadly ovate, dark
green leaves are slightly cupped, slightly corrugated,
slightly wavy, slightly twisted and slightly shiny on
top and bottom. Medium lavender flowers bloom in July on
28 to 30 inch tall scapes. It occasionally sets seeds
but they are non-viable.
The registration materials state: "Solid green
version of H. 'Pat Raeder' has good leaf
substance while the unique combination of leaf
characteristics leads to an interesting and somewhat
unruly looking plant."
