This cultivar is a
self-pollinated seedling of
H. montana. It was originated by
Hajime Sugita in
Japan and registered by
Peter and Jean Ruh of Ohio in 2005. It grows into
a large size plant about 27 inches high with a spread of
72 inches. The foliage is shiny and dark green. It is
slightly rippled, very slightly corrugated and has bloom
on the bottom. Very pale lavender flowers bloom from
June into July.
